Barcelona Language & Culture Immersion · May 24–30, 2026
1. A shared commitment
When you reserve your place in a Sobremesa Immersion, you are not simply booking a trip.
You are stepping into a carefully held experience, designed around presence, rhythm, and a limited number of seats around the table.
By enrolling, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below.
We invite you to read them with care.
2. Reserving your place
To confirm your participation, a non-refundable deposit of 1,500€ is required at the time of booking.
This deposit:
- Secures your place in the Immersion
- Allows us to begin early commitments made on your behalf (accommodation, collaborators, materials, and planning)
- Is applied toward the total program fee
Your reservation is confirmed only once the deposit has been received.
3. Payment of the remaining balance
The remaining balance must be completed no later than April 24, 2026 (six weeks prior to the start of the Immersion).
You may:
- Pay the balance in full, or
- Split the balance into two installments, by prior arrangement
All payments are completed via bank transfer.
Any bank or currency exchange fees are the responsibility of the participant.
If the full balance is not received by the due date, the reserved place will be released and the deposit forfeited.
4. If your plans change
We understand that life can shift. If you need to cancel your participation, the following terms apply:

| March 25 – April 30, 2026 | 50% refund of payments made, minus deposit |
| May 1, 2026 or later | No refund available |
The 1,500€ deposit is non-refundable in all cases, as it covers early-stage commitments made on your behalf.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel and cancellation insurance.
5. Shared accommodation
If two participants agree to share a room and one later cancels:
- The remaining participant may continue with solo occupancy, at no additional cost
- Sobremesa may offer the space to a participant on the waitlist
- If no replacement is found and the remaining participant chooses to withdraw, standard cancellation terms apply
6. Transfers & substitutions
You may transfer your place to another person up to 7 days before the Immersion begins, subject to approval by the Sobremesa team.
This option is often the most flexible solution and helps preserve the integrity of the group.
7. If Sobremesa must cancel
In the unlikely event that Sobremesa.Institute must cancel the Immersion due to force majeure, safety concerns, or minimum group size not being met, you will be offered:
- A full refund (excluding transaction fees), or
- The option to transfer your booking to a future Immersion
Sobremesa cannot be held responsible for external costs incurred (flights, accommodation booked independently, visas, or loss of work).
8. Travel, health & insurance
IThe Immersion fee covers only the inclusions explicitly stated on the program page.
Participants are responsible for:
- Travel arrangements
- Valid passports and visas
- Travel and international medical insurance
Participation is at your own risk. Insurance is not included in the program fee.
9. Program changes & conduct must cancel
Sobremesa.Institute reserves the right to adjust elements of the program, facilitators, or partners if necessary, while maintaining the integrity of the experience.
We also reserve the right to remove a participant whose behavior disrupts the group or the experience. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
Participants may be held financially responsible for any damage caused to venues or property.
10. Photography & documentation
Images and short video recordings may be taken discreetly during the Immersion for documentation and future communication.
If you prefer not to appear in any materials, please let us know in advance — your wishes will always be respected.
11. A final note
These Terms & Conditions exist to hold the container with clarity and care — for you, for the group, and for the experience itself.
By reserving your place, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
