How it works

1.

Let’s start with a quick entry-level test to see where you’re at in Spanish.
If you’re a complete beginner, you can skip this step.

2.

Book your free 45-minute chat with Lydia, our founder. In this relaxed conversation, you’ll share your learning goals, assess where your Spanish stands, and figure out what’s holding you back.
Lydia will also walk you through the experience and help you decide what kind of summer rhythm would suit you best.

3.

After your chat, we’ll design a personalized learning plan, aligned with your goals, availability, and desired pace.

4.

Once everything is in place, we’ll confirm your schedule and match you with the right tutor, so you can begin your summer learning rhythm with clarity and ease.

Personalized learning, held with intention

Why this course is different

  • A held learning container
This is not drop-in tutoring. It’s a four-week structure designed to support focus, continuity, and real momentum.
  • A rhythm that adapts to you
You choose how often you meet — 2, 3, or 4 sessions per week — so learning fits your life without losing consistency.
  • Carefully curated teaching
Lessons are taught by Sobremesa tutors trained in our methodology, guided by a shared philosophy of care, clarity, and connection.
  • Progress you can feel
The goal isn’t perfection, but confidence — the kind that shows up naturally in real conversations.

Who is this course for

This course is perfect for you if:

  • You want to make meaningful progress in Spanish within a clear, four-week structure.
  • You value consistency and focus, but need flexibility within your schedule.
  • You want to feel more at ease and more yourself when speaking Spanish — for work, travel, or everyday life.
  • You’re ready to commit to a learning rhythm that asks for presence, not pressure.

Why choose us

At Sobremesa, learning Spanish is not just about language — it’s about connection.

You’ll be guided by experienced tutors who understand communication as a human practice, not a performance. Every lesson is personalized, intentional, and grounded in real-life use.

By the end of the course, the change isn’t only linguistic — it’s relational. You’ll speak with more confidence, clarity, and ease, because the learning has been built around you.

A note from Lydia

This spring, let’s begin again with a more intentional way of using language to connect, participate, and belong.

At Sobremesa.Institute, learning Spanish is never just about grammar or accumulation of knowledge. It’s about building real communicative confidence — the ability to think, respond, and express yourself with clarity in real contexts. Over nine focused weeks, this course is designed to help you do exactly that, through a balance of structure, rhythm, and meaningful practice.

As a language educator, I’ve seen again and again that progress happens when learning is consistent, personal, and emotionally safe. That’s why this course prioritizes regular practice, clear guidance, and one-to-one attention — so Spanish starts becoming a usable, living language in your daily life.

Imagine joining conversations with more ease. Understanding not just the words, but the tone, the humour, the intention behind them. Feeling more precise — and more yourself — when you speak.

That’s the real power of language learning done well. It opens doors, deepens relationships, and allows you to move through the world with greater confidence and cultural awareness.

This Spring Course has been carefully designed with adult learners in mind — people with full lives, clear goals, and a desire to learn seriously but humanly. With a steady spring rhythm — focused, supportive, and sustainable — you’ll develop your Spanish in a way that feels both structured and deeply personal.

Ready to make this spring a turning point in your Spanish journey?

I’d love to support you as you build a relationship with the language that feels confident, grounded, and truly yours.

Con cariño,
Lydia
