Oikos Estudio
Pascale Zintzen is a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona and El Perelló, where she lives with her two kids and dog. She works on ceramics, tapestry, and painting. Pascale’s work is inspired by Wabi-Sabi, childhood, and the Mediterranean atmosphere. Her practice is characterized by slow manufacturing, strongly inspired by nature, respecting the time and process that each piece needs.

Matagalán
Founded by Carolina Spencer in 2014, the Matagalán collective believes in creative, playful and collaborative work, where art and design are always present, focusing on floral and sculptural elements to create dimension and space.
Their passion lies in arts, design, and everything related to the world of plants and flowers.

To ensure a smooth and effective learning experience, we have established a straightforward registration process for all our courses.
STEP 1: MEETING WITH OUR FOUNDER AND THE COURSE TEACHER
- This meeting is crucial to understanding specific learning objectives and establishing the exact English level of all students.
- The meeting will be scheduled at a convenient time for all parties involved.
STEP 2: SCHEDULE THE DAY AND TIME OF THE COURSE
- The course will be scheduled at a time that fits the students’ availability, always subject to the availability of our academic team.
- Once scheduled, we will send a confirmation email with all the necessary details.
- Once the course has started, no changes will be possible.
NOTE*
Lessons available from Monday to Thursday.
Lessons must start between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Each lesson lasts 90 minutes.
STEP 3: COURSE COMMENCEMENT
- The course will begin two weeks after the enrollment closes on Monday, September 30. By that date, we must have received payments from all students, or at least a proof of payment. Our support team will be available to assist you with any technical or administrative issues you may encounter.
Full payment must be made two weeks before the start of your course.
Sobremesa.Institute is not responsible for any additional bank fees.
STRIPE
On our website we use a payment tool by Stripe, an American technology company and online payment service. Stripe Payments Europe (Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland) is responsible for customers within the EU. Therefore, if you choose Stripe as your payment method, your payment will be processed via Stripe Payments. Hence, the data required for the payment process is forwarded to Stripe where it is then stored. In this privacy policy we will give you an overview of Stripe’s data processing and retention. Moreover, we will explain why we use Stripe on our website.
The technology company Stripe offers payment solutions for online payments. Stripe enables us to accept credit and debit card payments in our web while it handles the entire payment process. A major advantage of Stripe is that you never have to leave our website or shop during the payment process. Moreover, payments are processed very quickly via Stripe.
PAYPAL
(Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. If you select PayPal as your payment method, your personal data will automatically be transmitted to PayPal. PayPal acts as an online payment service provider and payment processing takes place directly with PayPal.We provide PayPal with our Merchant ID so the payment can be transferred to us.
Cancellation and change policy is 24 hours in advance by email. If cancelled or changed within 24 hours before the start of the class, the student will be charged.
Note*
While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require you to cancel a scheduled lesson, there is a limit to the number of cancellations allowed. In this course, the maximum number of cancellations is three lessons, one per trimester.
These lessons must be rescheduled within the same week to ensure continuous learning progress. Exceeding the allowed number of cancellations per course will result in the loss of the lesson without the option for a refund or rescheduling.
At Sobremesa Institute, we understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be as accommodating as possible while respecting the resources that we allocate for each student upon registration.
Notification Requirement
- Procedure: If you are unable to or choose not to commence your course for any reason, please notify Sobremesa Institute in writing.
- Timing: This notification must be sent before the start date of your course.
REFUND TIERS BASED ON NOTIFICATION TIMING
- 29 to 20 days before start of course: Eligible for a 50% refund of the course fee.
- 19 to 10 days before start of course: Eligible for a 25% refund of the course fee.
- Less than 10 days before start of course: Eligible for a 10% refund of the course fee.
CANCELLATION FEE
- A cancellation fee of 100€ will be charged for processing the refund.
Processing Time
- Refunds will be processed and issued within 20 days of receiving your written notification.
POST-COURSE START POLICY
- Once the course has commenced, refunds are not available. The full course fee will be forfeited to Sobremesa Institute.
Credit Option
- Alternative to Refund: Instead of a refund, you may opt for a credit equivalent to the refund amount
- Validity: This credit can be applied to any of our services within a 24-month period.
- Cancellation Fee Waiver: If you choose the credit option, the 100€ cancellation fee is waived.
- Credit Expiry: Unused credit will be forfeited to Sobremesa Institute after 24 months.
Sobremesa.Institute will not operate on national holidays in Barcelona. There will be no classes on these days, and they will not be rescheduled.
